Plans to build a supermarket on the site of a former police station in Carmarthenshire are poised to receive the green light after receiving a positive recommendation from planners.
Lidl is bidding to build the supermarket on the site of Carmarthen’s former police station at Friars Park, replacing its nearby Priory Street location and allowing it to increase the number of staff from 35 to 40 and expand its floor space by 3,530 sq ft to 14,272 sq ft.
