B&M to locate new store on Avenue Retail Park, Cardiff
The retailer’s sixth shop in Cardiff will create more than 80 jobs for locals. The budget retailer has confirmed the new shop and garden centre will open in January 2021. The retailer has taken possession of the former Homebase site in Cardiff on The Avenue Retail Park on Newport Road. B&M has said the site will undergo a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme before opening. The new store will open at 9am on Thursday, January 28. Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food and drink, pet range, health and beauty and homeware. The store will also boast its own garden centre, selling hundreds of plant varieties and gardening essentials.
A spokesperson from B&M said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people during these difficult times and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door next month.”
